I think this is quite different.. But I think Durant deserves to win the MVP this year, I didn't feel strongly towards Rose winning it.

You're supposed to be an admitted Durant *****, right? You can do better than trying to reach for something that isn't there in that gif.

I'm thinking you were going to post one of his patented head nods. Not some reaction that ANY player would have if they got their shot cleanly blocked from behind. But then again, this is the issue I have with slow motion gifs or YouTube videos in the first place. They can be spun into whatever story the poster wants it to be.

It's not a completely normal reaction to lean in and flail your arms man. Agree to disagree I guess.

So what is the appropriate reaction then? Especially when the shot is getting blocked from behind and you're not expecting it?

Hold on let me google "Jumpshots getting blocked from behind". Man I don't know what the "'right" reaction is to that, i just know that on that play, Durant tried to sell contact that just isn't there.

I think Durant is sneaky, and probably the best their is at selling contact.. But it's not so much a gripe about him as it is against the refs.. They need to do much better job of calling on the contact rather than the reaction. Either way I don't know that it effects if he should or shouldn't be this seasons MVP.

Who cares if he's frail? Show me in the rulebook where player weight is factored in to foul calls. A foul is a foul. Something called on Manute Bol should also be called on Shaq.
All superstars get calls more often than role players that's the issue. It's really just complaining to complain, you got guy's on your team who get the benefit from superstar treatment also.

I don't see you arms up in the air when the zebras are rewarding the flops that have been pulled by any of the big 3 on your team. Guess because they don't result in free throws most of the time will just ignore it hmm but it's a foul and that's the only thing I agree on with you on a foul is a foul.

I never said his weight played a difference, that was clearly followed by he sells the hell out of no contact. May not say it in any rulebook but I know if Durant comes flying down the lane with any slight bump that knocks him off course, compared to a physical freak in LeBron running through contact unfazed, Durant will get that call more.

Now if LeBron incorporates some of that acting from flops on defense he'll probably get some more whistles.

I hate the way Harden gets the calls also, but at what point do we continue to blame players for taking advantage of the Leagues **** up.
