Played a quick game last night with the new rosters. I played a show live game Cubs vs Pirates and noticed that Kalish had Jeters head. Also, he didnt have a cyber generated mug shot or a real mug shot. Just a black silhouette. Anyone else notice this?

I notice for a guy with 1 game in MLB Tanaka got a lot of love in his attributes based upon what he did in Japan.

Has anybody seen what McGehee got regarding attributes? He had a solid 2013 in Japan.

I don't know why you say that about Tanaka. I thought he would be higher than an 82 OVL. He looks underrated to me. I won't have him on my team and not a Yankee fan, but he sure looks better than an 82 to my eyes. I wouldn't be surprised if he's AL ROY.

Right, but attributes aren't normally calculated on guesses, and it is interesting to see them "guess" Tanaka at 82. The MLB guys who go to Japan routinely do far better over there than in MLB.

Since I don't have the game until May 6, I will use the Marlins as an example since the only team I've seen a roster of (on youtube) is Miami.

After Fernandez their starting pitchers are:

Alvarez 74
Koehler 74
Eovaldi 72
Slowey 71
Turner 70

If Fernandez was a rookie with 1 game pitched in MLB he be in the 70's.

I just find it interesting they put so much weight on what player do in Japan, and I'd still be interested to see what they have McGehee's attributes looking like. If they factor his year in Japan he will be decent, if not he will be useless.

It has to be based on guesses, just like prospect potential is really a guess.

As far as I'm concerned, Tanaka is better than Shelby Miller and Miller is an 83. McGehee is not a rookie, Tanaka is.

While on the subject of guesses, my guess is Yordano Ventura will have a good year and surprise a lot of people, and maybe give Tanaka a run for AL ROY.

Did you get the offline roster file to work? I got an error that the file was Corrupt. Any help would be much appreciated.
