Wow, I haven't heard of a single one of these bands. Either I'm getting old and out of touch, or have become closed minded in discovering new music, and I'm musician that plays in a band. I'm ashamed at myself.

Never heard of any of this, and even if it's all great who wants to listen to the same 10 songs over and over? Looks like another year of menu music volume on 0 which I'm perfectly fine with.

Definitely seek out Link Wray then, he's actually an old timer & highly influential though less well known than his contemporaries.
