The PS4 version looks pretty good - even with it not being a direct feed. Maybe its just me, but it looked a little less sterile than the pc version.

it does look good but:

1) hopefully there will be a setting where we can turn off the pre-shot trajectory.
2) what camera options will be available? I hope not just presentation and follow cam like TW. will there be a "true aim" or "behind the golfer" cam?
3) how will the physics aspect of the game interact with bunkers, trees, deep rough? will balls ricochet off trees sometimes and not just drop straight down? we will lose the sight of the ball when it gets plugged into some deep rough? etc...

we've been waiting for a very long time for a game like this, but with it being stripped of "real life" similarity, it needs to produce everywhere else where TW failed.

Seriously, Perfect Golf had my attention back in June of 2012, when it was unveiled but, now almost 2 years later, I have very little confidence that it will ever get released. I dare them to prove me wrong but, I've lost all hope for that game.
The game was just greenlit on Steam yesterday, so a release on PC is pretty much inevitable. I'm hoping it will be out before the end of the year. We shall see.

Yes, there will be... it's already off in the beta 2.1 build I'm playing on the PC. It really makes the game feel more pristene.

There will be other camera options available. The "camera" specialist on the dev. team told me that they have been monitoring all of the suggestions about cameras, and we will be getting some love in this area. I'm very anxious to see if don't come up with something we'd recognize as "True-Aim". I'm pretty sure we will based on the signals I'm picking up.

I've seen very realistic reactions when the ball goes into the trees... very lifelike in this regard. Sometimes you can even hear the ball hitting limbs in addition to foliage. The bounces and ricochets are as unpredictable as the real thing!
