Ok so I just read through the entire thread and have come to a decision, I will give online a try because I hated the trade logic that used last year. I always saw the Indians trading Lindor for some random major league player and it pissed me off. I do not like using the 30 team control because I do not like having to read through every email for every team and the blinking lights aggravate me. But what I really like offline is the ability to change players potentials that is one thing I have really been looking for in MLB games. So for me it is a toss up on what on which one I play. But if I do actually need PS+ for online on PS3 which would make sense imo, because I think you need it for online on the other 2 systems. But if changing player potentials is in online then I will use that and just do me vs 29 cpu teams.

Been trying to keep myself from reading anything about the Show, but had to so I know what to expect from it.

Everything sounds cool. Seriously, everything.

But I'm not going to get uber excited because it is an online feature, and I'm already imagining the bugs that will happen, but I hope I'm wrong.

Russell, we are less then 2 weeks away. Can u PLEASE say whether carry over save from year to year will work on Online and Offline or just Offline? There's really no reason for this little piece of info not to be released. If carry over save doesn't work for online then there's no point for us that plan to take a franchise long term to use it. PLEASE say whether itll work online or not.

Not at all, you can most likely play at a minimum of 3 RTTS games in the same amount of time it takes for you to complete one franchise game. This obviously depends on what position you play and the settings you use, ie only batting and running, etc. Also most people have stated in the thread that simulate most of the games their team plays in franchise. My games played percentage between the two is 99-1 in favor of RTTS. But if you go by what mode I am in the most it is 99-1 in favor of Franchise I play every single game in RTTS in order to gain maximum points and complete the advancement goals, whereas in franchise I only play the World Series if I get there. So there is a very high unlikelihood that franchise mode will be the number game mode played again even with the addition of online franchise. Online franchises will probably make the number closer to something like 80-20 or 85-15 with RTTS at the higher percentage. I for might not play franchise at all because of some of the changes that made online but did not make it on to the offline version (trade logic is one in particular). Another reason is that I am really liking what the RTTS dev team made and that mode seems like it will be very cool. Rant over.
