Sony literally said sometime in May. Well holy jesus did she have a battle with me trying to convince me that The Show for the PS4 was coming out 4-1-2014....I finally just gave up and said that we'll just wait and see, smh.....has anyone else had these battles with their workers? I literally said that even the Devs confirmed the PS4 version is in May, yet she continued to say that their cpus r connected to Sony directly and that the devs r wrong haha. [face][palm]
That would literally drive me insane. I'd be like..."you obviously are full of yourself or your higher ups are giving you the. wrong info because it CLEARLY says on their facebook page it's coming out May 6th, so just for that, I'm not pre-ordering the game here."

That's understandable that they ran out of time, and I get they wanted to perfect as best they could a new feature in this years edition, but IMHO, it seems like Offline Franchise should have gotten top priority over Online Franchise. And before anyone acuses me of bashing this brilliant dev team, I am not bashing anyone, just simply giving my opinion lol.

I'm sure a bunch of people will agree with you, but the Online guys got shafted for a long time and it's something they've been wanting for years and they finally got it. I personally don't play online, but I'm happy the online guys got what was needed and deserved. I'm sure next year will be better for offline guys and I can live with how it is for now it doesn't bother me like it does others.

Yea, I hear ya. The graphics and overall power alone of the PS4 can/will get me by on '14, but it would have definitely been nice. But I guess only time will tell how the online will work. I hope it works great for the online people! But then again, it will sort of kinda blow for offline. But overall I agree with you.

The only thing I disagree with as it pertains to the "Online got the attention it deserved" notion is that as a consumer I don't feel that the addition of online franchise should have resulted in the separation that has occured between the modes from a single player perspective. As a customer of The Show this year you will have to choose between two versions of a single player franchise mode, each with improvements exclusive to each.

If you are a single player franchise player it is very frustrating that you could start a single player franchise and be locked out of certain additions that are in the "other" single player franchise mode.

It would be frustrating to be locked out of things that were in past games & since removed. It would also be frustrating to not see those additions added in a future yearly release. As it stands now I can't see a need to be frustrated as 14 has plenty to be amped about i.e. cross-saves & quick counts.

There is a ton of announced features to be excited about. But there are also things that are disappointing with each announcement of features every year. Nothing is perfect.

Ramone said in an video interview that you could play '14 on PS3/Vita and either one of them could be continued on PS4 for '15. He was talking how they were looking out for those, who weren't getting a PS4 this cycle of the game.
