Has there been any more info on the universal profile yet? I haven't really been following all the different sites that posted articles. I'm assuing the full fact sheet might give more indication of what info it tracks.

As a DD player I wonder how detailed it will be, since in the fact sheet it mentions it could be used as a quick scouting report. If it is accessible in game or via The Show site it could make things more interesting. Since you're matched up randomly you'd be able to get some sense of what a player does, but I wonder if the info will actually be useful. Although it could cause an issue with people initiall pausing to look at it, then the other player looks at it, which would make games longer.

Could it be possible that they make a smart phone app compatible with The Show? That would make it even easier to look up scouting reports.

I just had a thought and was curious if player lock can be set by half inning or even say by offence or defence? If I would like to only field as the catcher (call the game) but essentially have the rest by auto fielding, but hit for my entire lineup.

This would create a new dynamic to the game and combine RTTS, MoM and franchise into a new little way to play the game. Anyone able to confirm?

IDK if you can set it to auto rotate if thats what youre looking for, but you can turn it on/off during the game as you see fit.

If it could be set that would be nice but even having manual (although slightly tedious) would be fine. This method gives the control to call a game but have the pitchers ratings be more of a factor some were looking for. It wouldn't make the game shorter unless you have QC on but certainly a new dynamic. Looking forward to this.

I dont really see the point of this being used on Defense unless you just want to be a fielder. As is right now, you can already just be the pitcher and let the CPU auto field & throw for you.

I do see how this would be used on Offense, but I dont understand why.
How boring of a game will it be if you just bat once and wait for the other 8 to bat around. I get thats what real baseball is like, but this aint real baseball, its a video game. I wanna play all positions, all at bats not watch. But thats me.

I'd rather call a game than pitch. So being a catcher only on defence allows that. People are always looking for ways to make pitchers pitch to their ratings without the human ability factor. This allows that. As far as offence. From my understanding or was mention it's 1-3 players. (Thought knight said something about this but I think I'm wrong) Means you could potentially play with friends as your favourite or alone as just the heart of your order or the top of the line up or as in RTTS your own created player or have an RTTS type experience as one mlb star which has also been asked for and in other games like NHL and fifa. Not exactly the same but close enough to get more out of a feature like this.

That three-way compatibility on game saves is an incredible feat. Seriously.
