Yeah I really like the idea of it.

I would love to recreate/relive Game 6 of the 2011 World Series.

Man....it was a little hectic there.....it was early and we are playing off a server....so it wasn't the most stable...
I cannot remember how long you can set the parameters for(either attempts or innings/game etc....)
I'm sorry about that.
Since it's on that fact sheet....perhaps Ramone or Woodweaver can elaborate.(or if any of the other guys used it while there.....I think thaSlab did)

Oh no worries...I know how busy it can be for you guys. We'll find out eventually. I remember using a practice mode like that quite a bit in one of the EA titles.

I'm sure this will be covered in-depth at a later date (and it may have changed), but yes, you could absolutely string together events/innings/games. I had one set up where you had to score 2, 2-out runs in the bottom of the 9th, and then win the game in a 10th inning walk-off. Or you don't simple 1 batter challenges (e.g. break up a no-hitter with 2-out, 2-strikes in the 9th.)

I can't remember if there was a limit on the number of scenarios in a challenge.

This reminds me of the mode back in the ASB days which was awesome

I wonder if it's possible we will get commentary like you did in ASB??

Does the player lock and the custom challenges apply to The Show Live as well?

Would be cool, if let's say a player is going for a career milestone in hits and he needs about 3 hits to get it, if you could go to The Show Live, have his career stats up to the day, then play the game in player lock as only him, then have a custom challenge to get 3 hits.

Also does the player lock let you field, and does it fast forward until you are going to make a play, or can you have it set up so let's say you player lock onto a third basemen like David Wright and then you field as the third basemen even in plays you are not really involved in?

If both of these are in, it should make for a great game, especially with the next generation graphic increase and extra details.

Edit: Also any chance on having varying cup sizes in create a player or edit a player, or having the players have authentic cup sizes on the PS4 version?

Made me love Triple Play '98. Was such a cool happening, especially for a PSX game way back then.

Them Anaham Angels!

The PS2 versions of The Show had things like this as well. They were alright. Cool that they were there, at least. I'm hoping in this version, it's seamless and just a part of the overall graphics, instead of some different kind of rendering.
