That would work great but some people sold there ps3's to get the ps4. The game will be awesome. After cooling down a bit lol everything sounds great so far and in may we will not have a problem with the release date

I was just looking over the screenshots and the first video from a couple of months ago again. I've been suggesting a feature for all sports games but more specifically the NBA and baseball games for editing players, even the ACTUAL players that are in the leagues. Since it is possible to change the appearance of computer generated players and your own player, would it be possible to edit the hair, facial hair, and build of the actual players as well. Say all of the Boston players shave off their beards before this season. What if I want to replicate that in my game? I think it'd be cool to make every player editable in the game just like your created player is.

Re: PS Nation - MLB 14 The Show Hands-On Report (PS3/PS4)

I'll go bad news first. I'm fairly disappointed for some reason, but this is what I expected. I mentioned there might be a significant push back on the release earlier because they hadn't mentioned anything yet which usually isn't a good sign.

I also don't think the PS4 screens look great, but I'll wait to see video to make a judgement. I'm super excited about the fact sheet and the fact that they mentioned that the PS4 version isn't just a resolution upgrade. It will be interesting to see the differences between the PS4/PS3 versions of the game.

I will say this: if it were any other developer, I'd be a lot more worried. SCEA deserves a little leeway when it comes to stuff like this, so I think everyone would be good to give them some. I remember how terrible most games transitioned from the PS2/PS3. To see SCEA make a game that not only contains upgrades but keeps the full feature list is pretty impressive. We already know of one developer that was unable to do so, and that didn't work out well.

When it's all said and done, I think we would all rather have a polished game released a little late than a buggy one released early. Can't wait to see what's in store for us the next couple of weeks!

I know more is to come, just curious about everything so far. I know not a lot has been mentioned about RTTS. You guys that ent to the community day, is there more coming? Just a yes or no if the NDA allows.
Online franchise mode....

There are some more tidbits as well.
