That is all we can draw from the situation in this moment. No need to make up things for it being delayed.

I'd like to think I'm pretty grounded in reality. I don't think this as far fetched as it sounds. Its as logical and viable as any other reason. 2-3 days after the x1 patch I would agree with you no question. They do run behind Microsoft. But a full week...and you know this isn't dropping over a weekend.

Partner that with 2K's new stance of anti-transparency and I say there's a pretty good chance this is the case.

I was thinking the same thing as well.

My guess is we seen this patch late next week. But here's to hoping I'm wrong and this thing drops this afternoon.

Just remember all this silliness goes away if 2K would embrace their customers and engage the public out in front of things like this.

That seriously sucks.

I was under the impression that people were talking about after the first two years, they're stuck with the team for 2 more years, which is how 1st round rookie contracts go.

I saw a guy on here asking about free agency after 2 years, not realizing there's a two year team option.

But if you can't become a restricted FA after year number 4....that's not game breaking...that's game annihilating.

I can tell you from experience it's verified too... I'm in year 5...contract defaulted to 0 $ for 2 years. The only reason I even still play is I'm on clippers playing with Griffin and Paul. It's old though... As I was looking forward to options for playing with different stars. Totally takes away from whole experience.

I can't even fathom that...that's one of the biggest oversights I've ever seen, and I'm not exaggerating either.

The whole mode is designed around playing out a career in the NBA...and free agency is straight up missing. Lol.

Wow...

I could not agree with you more. I've posted about this in some other threads over the last month. I also sent tweets to Ronnie 2k, Chris Smoove, and some others....trying to get more visibility on the issue, but they went with no response. I saw this exact same thing happen in MLB The Show. 3 years ago.... you would become a free agent and have a half dozen teams or more show interest in you. Over the last 2 years... you were lucky if you got 2 offers. It takes away from the whole experience in both platforms. One of the all time highlights for me was getting to free agency and going through all the teams that were interested in you.... countering contract offers, looking at rosters, etc. It's a serious BUZZKILL and almost ruins the experience completely.

I have a PS4....and was holding out hope it would be corrected in the patch we are waiting on. After I saw this wasn't addressed in the already released XBOX patch.... It pretty much solidified what I was already afraid of....that it's not going to be addressed.

On the flip side of this.... if there are people out there who only care about free agency as a tool to get to your favorite team.... and you're willing to start over....There is a thread on this with a "workaround" that have many getting the result they are looking for.

I'm more interested in progressing through the seasons and playing with different players so it's not a big option for me.... but could be for some.

This happened to me as well. Out of the blue, I lossed my MyGM / My Career games, NBA today video and the abiltiy to edit/manage rosters. I am on a PS4 and got tired of waiting for a patch that never seens to come to fix the problems. Yesterday I re-installed the game and this seemed to fix the NBA Today and roster problems, but the My Career saves are hosed.

This is the second time I have lossed My Career progress to problems with game stability. It is almost criminal that a company like 2K could release such a buggy product onto the market. I guess the only consumer recourse is to keep complaining or boycott the product. I wish there was a reasonable alternative for an NBA basketball game. Oh well, maybe NBA live 15 will take advantage of this window of oppurtunity to steal away all the disgrunted 2K customers.

good luck
