That's not how it works. They submit the patches to MS and Sony and it's HP to them when they release.

Do you have proof to the contrary. I'm certainly not defending 2K in any way but as best I understand once the patch is submitted they don't have any control over what date or time frame it will be released.

That is how it works. It's vetted by MS and Sony before they push it through on their architecture.

2K and EA has been trying to get around submitting patches with server-side "fixes" and EA's tuner updates. Like when 2K removed the Game Day gear from the MyPlayer store. That was completely server-side.

They're not fixing these issues 2K14's having like that tho. That would be like trying to put out a dumpster fire with a cup of water.

Need a heavier touch.
