I bit the bullet last year and tried out iRacing. Wow, nothing is even close to it. Expensive, but it is so much fun.

It might be wrong since in it's European trailer, it shows availability only on PS3 and PSN.

Kinda weird that European xboxers can't have the F'n thing. Just have to wait and see even tho I'm not that optimistic.

At least they have it synced up with the actual Nascar season now. I thought Inside Line was much improved, but still a frustrating experience when it came to pitting and wear etc. If they could solve that, and the AI interaction around the player, they'd have a really solid game. They've got such a great foundation IMO, they just need to get it over the hump.

From the screens and trailer, it doesn't look much different from IL, so I'm not sure what to do here.

I've avoided this franchise so far over the years and still never became convinced to try despite their valid effort. However the need to try IL is finally boiling over, and i just found out about NASCAR 14 today which makes me inline for a purchase. But unfortunately this all is sounding more like a commercial moneygrab type of project thus far. I expect to be woo'ed about advancements they made providing a very detailed NASCAR racing experience all month until the game is released but I dont get the feeling they even are going that direction.
