It's literally two "ifs."

And really, it's more a matter of when.

We're not going to see another NCAA title of any kind while the NCAA's case with O'Bannon et al is ongoing. When the NCAA's case with O'Bannon et al has a ruling, we'll likely have a concrete answer on whether or not players have a legal right to be paid for their likenesses, and whether or not the NCAA has to amend its amateurism rules because of this. Almost regardless of how the case is ruled, NCAA games will have a very good chance of returning. Currently, the biggest obstacle in the way of EA (or 2K or anyone else) is the uncertain liability - meaning schools, conferences, etc. don't want to be involved in the risk of licensing.

Based on the current situation, it's monumentally stupid to "guarantee you no company will ever produce a college sports game and the NCAA will never license to a video-game maker again."

It'll certainly be a few years before everything is all said and done, but all logic dictates we'll have NCAA titles again when the developers and licensees have a concrete answer from the courts on the licensing of player likenesses.

FWIW, EA's exclusivity settlement and the NCAA suing EA are totally irrelevant, I'm not even sure why you brought them up.

Haven't bought the game since NCAA 12. Have they fixed the super LB BS? I'm talking the "Oh I'm going to knock down the pass that should be 10 feet over my head" junk that happens on half the passes over the middle in any given game.

I have some complaints about this version, and there are some things I really miss from '12. However for me, the passing game is one thing that is MUCH better. Pretty much every interception I throw is a mistake on my part. I don't see the warping, psychic DB's. (Although note that I am a very average player, playing on average difficulty settings. There may be CPU BS on the higher levels?)

I would assume so but with EA sometimes you never know...
If I remember right I think NCAA 2k8 basketball still let's you. But that's a different company.
