The fine details the next gen madden has can really only be seen up close on replays for sure. Its prettier

Just got it last night. I think the game plays so much better than current gen. I played a game in the snow and threw 2 picks due to my receivers falling down - it was glorious! It just feels better and I feel like I'm playing football. My two cents. Merry Christmas everyone!

You need a better tv. To say it looks exactly like current gen is an absolute joke. It's not as graphically impressive as NBA 2K14 on the PS4 or XBOX One, but there are definitely improvements.

one thing that is really annoying me right now is that out of 7 off tackle runs against me, all 7 have gone 60 yards or more for a TD often untouched. another thing is that I have a 6'5" WR who is well faster than the 5'10" DB, runs a go route and has 5 yards separation, I lead him, and the DB gets some random burst and jumps like 8 feet into the air to pick it off. It makes it so I cannot even attempt a deep ball even when it is wide open like that, because they will just become superman for a second and jump over my 6'5" wideout.

EDIT: Just had to rage quit because the game decided to take an un-pressured pass to a wide open receiver 20 yards down field and underthrow it only to lob it 5 yards downfield right at a defender nowhere close to where I was looking. c'mon man.

Yeah they definitely need to patch it to where defenders go for more swats and bat downs. I love the tight coverage and it gives me that challenge I crave but the INTs can get out of hand sometimes. I just don't want them to mess it up to where the coverage becomes terrible again..
