I think the reasonable dissent comes from the game still having the same issues it always had off the court. Terrible consistency with the servers, rosters inaccurate, AI trouble in Associations ect. And all that without the usual tools available for fixing them (server problems excluded of course).

Being able to save rosters to the hard drive was in the game. Patch took it out (along with multiplayer in MyGM and defensive options)

and in the end the stuff that is missing is easy to implement. This was a conscious decision made to take these things out or just pure laziness.

Ok dude. You that unhappy you have a real choice this year. I hope Live is all that you are missing. Not being funny I just don't see what you guys are. If you want to keep the devs from getting away with this you should buy Live.

..and one more thing. If they were being "lazy" the devs could have just ported over the same game that sells 3 million plus every year. Building a NEW engine takes work and risk of possibly alienating the loyal folk who buy the game every year. That comment is just so shortsighted. Why do we "assume" stuff is so "easy" to implement? #cmon son.

Live is missing the same things too (I think it's missing CAP) and it looks like it plays worth.

I am really mad because 2k14 is a great playing game but it's like chocolate covered in ****. Its just frustrating to see people give them an out by saying it's next gen especially when some of the same dudes shat on EA for doing the same ****.

CAP is the only thing that is legit effected by the new engine and even that is not correct as the game has a goddam CAP but only for the **** MyPlayer mode.

That's probably my issue it seems like modes and features like myPlayer is what got the most attention and with a game that is lacking basic functionality...that is lame.

BECAUSE ALL OF THE THINGS I AM BITCHING ABOUT ARE IN THE GAME.

CAP is the game.
Rosters on Harddrive was in the game
and more.

and you are telling me it's that hard to allow people to save rosters and other stuff to their harddrive? Madden and Fifa both do it.

This is my only issue. things like missing association? fine. I get it. That takes more time. Multiple teams in MyGM? Not all the possible. But everything else? Its either in the goddam game already or simple as hell.

#cmon son? That applies to you. This is what I'm talking about. Why settle for subpar ****?

I played this game today. The graphics are amazing. Still not crazy about the spacing. But still a great game.
