I apologize if this has already been commented on but the reason for no imported draft classes would seem to me to be the fact that there is no NCAA football for PS4 Xbox1. Correct?

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)

When you actually play the game, you realize the amount of pre-release hate this game received is ridiculous. Sure, it doesn't look as good as NBA 2K14, but there are many, many improvements over current gen, mostly gameplay related... which is what we, the hardcore sports fans, always say we want.

Of course, for many people, it's either the hype train or the hate train, and full steam ahead.

Anyway, as for actual impressions, I'm finding this Madden to be very solid in the gameplay department. I was surprised that the CPU offered such a stiff challenge on default all-pro, especially in the running game.

I love the fact that, after the initial load, the menus are lightning fast. They lagged like crazy for me on the 360.

Liking the new pause menu UI. I'm not usually a fan of Windows 8-style tile-based layouts, but this one is pretty sharp.

After the haze of next gen has left same turd new polish. Of all the new sideline animations supposedly in the game I have only really noticed the D use them offense wr's still very dumb. Way to many ints 8 a game at least 4-5 per team per game. Taking the game back today may buy again in a few months after tuners but for now not worth 60.

I still say if the wr's were half as aggressive as the db's when ball in air the game would play better. But still the same canned passes and receptions.

Even though I don't agree with all of your post, I do agree on the lack of aggressiveness of the WR. There are more times than not where the D is behind the WR and blows by them to make the INT when all the WR would have had to do was take 1 step towards the ball and they would have made the catch.

Have you tried controlling the WR?

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)

I normally don't post my impressions much, I let y'all handle that, but, I have to say I am very pleased with my purchase of Madden. Pleasantly surprised is what I will say! It's still Madden, you can see that right off the bat, but, man it plays and looks so much better then any other made to date! Still room for improvement of course, I.e. Penalties, I've played 3 full games with no flags and have my sliders pretty turned up for PI and still nothing. All in all though, good start EA, GOOD START.

Maybe has more to deal with the receiver because in my games WRs are attacking the ball at the highest point without being controlled.

These were head to head games.

Wow, from reading these comments, it seems M25 is a better game than what people made it out to be at first. Graphics will come with time, but it seems that they addressed the gaping flaws from CG (Line play, CB play) and made the game somewhat better. I look forward to M15 and 16 as the foundation seems somewhat solid
