How can you play online with local co-op? Did they remove the "add a guest" feature?

Sounds that even though FIFA isn't quite there where I want it to be yet, it is finally heading in the right direction, maybe FIFA 15 could be smth for me..

Re: FIFA Soccer 14 Next-Gen (PS4) Impressions

Can't really compare it to past iterations, since I haven't played a FIFA game in years, but I'm really liking the PS4 version.

So much life to the ball, and the amount of player animations is insane. Game plays smooth, and obviously the graphics are stellar. There isn't as much play in the midfield as I'd like, but it's something I can easily look past. I've seen all types of goals in just two days with the game, and have yet to find anything I'd consider a "money goal". Very impressed with where soccer gaming is, and where it's going.

Not surprised by the impressions of everyone so far. I'll be the first one to bring it up...

Are there more fouls?
How is the CPU tactical AI?

Thanks for the impressions!

Benches! With players on them. Coaches! Nail biting games where possession is important. Skill games improved. This proved right to be a day one pre-order.

Fouls are scarce, but I got into a game where the CPU got issued a yellow for messing around during a free kick. Not going back far enough. Also, a PK for a handball (which dummy me miscalculated and missed).

You're right. I had assumed it would be there and it isn't. I'm surprised, and think that the omission was an accident and not a purposeful removal.

I'm getting a few more fouls than on PS3. There seems to be more collisions because of new animations, leading to more calls. It's still not where I'd like it to be on the realism scale, but it's closer.

It's an awesome game, the game I've been waiting about 4 years to play.

Aside from graphics, it's not as if there's huge leaps forward but instead just smaller improvements across the board. Just about everything is better and it creates a very realistic feeling game.

Maybe most exciting of all, this is only the first FIFA of a new console generation. If it's this good now, I can't wait to see what we have in a few years when these consoles start to come into their own.
