Good: this is the best and most balanced basketball game I've ever played.

Bad: The redesign of the menus and constant need to think about earning or buying VC makes it feel like im trapped in adware--I just want to enjoy the game without feeling like they want more money from me.

The on the court plays great but the off the court menus are pretty poorly designed and customization feels restrictive imo

Anyone seen the reaction to a gamewinner yet? If so how is it?

QUESTION!?

To what extent is playstation plus is required for online stuff? Like is it needed for the roster updates? MyCareer stuff? I know it's obviously needed for online play but I don't play online too much

Wow...I'm playing as Chicago, watching CPU Taj Gibson slide off his man to try and take charges. Correct if I'm wrong but I don't think I've seen that when it comes to rotations in the last-gen version.

Honestly have never seen the CPU take a charge on a rotation... If so, that is crazy

re: NBA 2K14 Impressions (PS4/Xbox One)

This is the best simulation sports game I have ever played. I have been fighting through the current gen's iteration on the 360.....this game doesn't even compare. It reeks of authenticity. It breathes and smells NBA basketball. My wife literally was asking why there was an afternoon Friday game on.

Yup, I'm playing Cavs Twolves and I blew by Barea with Kyrie. I saw Turiaf rotate over and tried to pull a floater over him, but he drew the charge.
