On the flip side, the ball is getting loose way too frequently. And passes get tipped a bit much as well.
These are easily fixed with some sliders tweaking.
I see that many fellow members feel that players have now more weight. This is a fact and it's mainly because of the rock solid 60fps at 1080p. Since 2009 I bought both PS3 and PC versions of the game and on the PC players had always significally more weight than the PS3 version.

Sounds like realism . The ball is its own entity as it should be

Thank you for your impressions on the game. The game sounds & looks amazing, I can't wait to play it later today. I know in the vids I saw before the footplanting looked pretty soild, but its better to hear first hand how it actually feels through the controller. The floating/sliding of players all over the court is something I haven't been able to stand in the game since 2k12 since it took away control by not having realistic movements on the court. So glad they worked on this in yr #1 for next gen.

The game LOOKS and plays AMAZINGLY!! You have to play the game in person to see how detailed it is, 1080p 60fps is the best EVER!. I'm so tired right now I have been playing for 4 hours str8 since I got home at 12:30. I'll give more impressions tomorrow I'm sleepy has hell.

There's no problem at all.
Loose ball -> Increase ball handling/hands
Passes tipped -> Decrease stealing/passing lanes/hustle/on-ball steals

Seriously, this game has surpassed 2K11 on the court. Like said above, everything just feels right with the gameplay. Sure it has its quirks with the passing but just the overall movement and how each player feels different with the ball...2K has outdone themselves. Its just so dynamic.

Anyone comparing this to the current gen version is simply trolling.
