Same here man....

I realize that the game hasn't reached his full potential yet...anyone who played 2k6 for the 360 and then played 2k7 should recognize that it's a process....

Even so, I think 2k has done a pretty good job.....Mostly CG gameplay with the graphical improvements is still a heck of a game...

As a guy who just wants to enjoy some video game basketball I'm excited!

It's a waste because I don't like aspects of their modes? That doesn't make sense.

Unless they were lying, it's been said that you can skip through the GM duties.

And I didn't realize that in order to buy a game one has to like or play every single mode.

Come on dude even they know they're not where 2k's at right now. There in rebuild mode trying to turn madden into a more sim experience.

Re: NBA 2K14 Next-Gen Review (IGN)

Graphics looks great, but it still seems so similar to CG 2K14 gameplay wise to me. So far, I am also not interested in any of the modes except MyGM. MyCareer is a mode I like, but from what I saw, it did seem VERY cheesy. Would need to see more vids on that. I was hoping we would get a better Crew, MyCareer etc.

The graphics amazed me, but I guess I expected a lot more gameplay wise. Most of the dunks, crossovers etc i've seen through recent CG 2Ks. I will pass this year and maybe wait until 2K15 when I know everything will be alot better.

I was only going to go NG for 2K because their isn't any other games I am interested in, but I don't think it's worth spending $500+ right now just for this game. When it looks to play so similar to CG. I'll just enjoy 360 for awhile longer until 2K and some other games improve on NG games.

Man the visuals are incredibly impressive. Something that cannot be denied. Well done in that regard.

Once the game play becomes more responsive and things are tuned more appropriately, they will start getting my $60 again. Not enough of a leap for me to buy this iteration, but it looks like a step in the right direction.

Yeah, they definitely improved that. His color looks way off to me though. What you think?

I think it's going to depend upon the lighting. For instance, this photo tends to more closely resemble his 2K shade.
