lol at all of you thinking you can give a better review then IGN. All of you are bias and would rate the game a 10 and not even see the flaws he pointed out.

WTF

This is why IGN is completely unsuited to review anything sports-related.
Not really, one is a current gen title and the other is a next gen title.... For example, if next gen 2k14 was a current gen release, it probably receive a 10 and if the current gen version was a next gen title, it probably be rated really low...

Put it like this, if no one here brought 2k14 current gen, next gen is a no brainer must buy.... Same goes to people who actually brought the CG versions and enjoyed it

Playing like CG is fine for a first year iteration, but as we move forward, it must evolve...DRAMATICALLY. People that suffer from 2k fatigue will skip this game and maybe give the competition a chance. No worries there, but that game has to step it up as well.

The months and weeks leading up to this game, have been unmatched. The potential for this game was high! but it undelivered in terms of translating it into gameplay. But that's a good thing about potential, it puts the idea in your head and there is a strong possibility of executing the idea.

I'm glad it came back down to earth. I was tired of the fanboys religiously defending this game, their marketing, and saying otherwise ridiculous comments to justify their purchase or ridicule the logic of a person that questions the gameplay.
I really do not give a crap about marketing when im only a few days from playing the game

This is the realest problem. I have played FIFA 14 on PS4 already.

Its literally exactly the same. The physics are improved and the graphics are (a little).

It's the same reviewer. I don't get it either...maybe being that it's next gen, it's held to a different standard? I really don't know, since he had basically nothing but praise for it. His biggest gripes were the cheesy myCareer mode (which has always been kinda cheesy, but understandable), the loose ball physics (which sound like an improvement, if you ask me), some clipping, and the disorganized parts of Park mode.

Re: So An Improved, Deeper Game Goes From 9.3 to 8.9?

I think people get too hung up on the score. It sounded like a pretty good review if you just listen to it. And was it the same reviewer. I watched the FIFA review and it was clear that the reviewer felt it was only a port, yet gave it a 9.1.

Maybe the reviewer took points off for certain issues and gripes. Again, an 8.9 is nothing to complain about.
