It's called MyGM. Not MyOwner. You don't make money off your virtual franchise, right? So why should you have to pay it's bills? Let me play my single player game how I damn well please without forcing me to spend VC on inane things like this.

The idea of luxury tax is that if you think you can make that money back in sales, or think it will boost your brand loyalty then you can take the short term financial penalty. It's not there to make owning a team a money sink for the owner. Owners are there to make money!
