I think he was just saying that 2K are releasing these screens for guys who are so dull in basketball knowledge, they think taking halfcourt shots the whole game would be acceptable

So, should everyone be lifeless drones who does their job the same as everyone else? Or is it acceptable for some guys to be better than others in a certain area?(which is basically what this game is letting us do)
That "special" quality shouldn't be a signature skill card you can just slap on to yourself.

Why the hell would human beings do the same thing as each other when they can't even see each other's decisions? No two humans who are playing this mode are going to be making the exact same decisions as each other.

Being a GM shouldn't be subject to having binary qualities - either you have it or you don't - because that's not how the real world works. Qualities come in degrees - A is good at X, but B is better at X, and C is even better than B at X. You don't get better at something through buying a package for 5,000 VC. You do it through experience.

NON-CPU GMs shouldn't be able to slap on signature skills before being a GM for even a day. You should earn a good reputation and skill. Not buy it.

Now we're getting somewhere. I can agree with what you're saying to an extent, but think about it this way.

Say you and I are GMs in the world of basketball, we both offer the same qualities, and we're pretty even when it comes to making good decisions. But say you're better than me at player managing, and I'm better than you at finances? People don't necessarily need a ton of experience to be good at something, sometimes it comes natural.

But at the same time, we both can improve at other areas areas throughout our career, too. I think that's all 2K is trying to implement here. For your idea of getting better based on decisions you make, I like that a lot. But it's the first year of this new mode, and the way 2K has this set up is realistic enough for them to build on something just like you described

Marketing has never really been 2k's strongest selling point, and the social media push has only made things worse. But, when the majority of kids are on Twitter and Facebook this is what you get. It sucks, but it is what it is at this point.
I agree with ya, 2k's marketing has gotten worse in recent years with their marketing attention more now on social media. I understand 2k has never been great at marketing, but with a week and half to go untill release and with no demo to even play you would of thought their marketing team could of whipped something up about the gameplay and modes. All I pretty much know at this point is that the graphics will be much better, which is expected if your spending $400-$500 on new hardware. I just find it puzzling why they would wait untill the final week untill they start coming out with any detailed info, thats certainly not going to help their preorder sales at all.
