TBH, the entire sequence looked funky even down to Robin Lopez' collapsing into the paint.

Is that indicative of the animations that we can expect to see in '14?

The footplanting is definitely there. But the fluidity is what gives some people pause.

What are your thoughts on that?
That's a great question. I don't recall how that was captured to be honest. I wouldn't say that's indicative of the animations you will see in Live 14 either. I am surprised though, that nobody picked out the spacing on side S&R or that you have floater control. On defense we have NBA help principals. Did Lopez get there as quick as he should? Probably not but what's his speed rating? Whats (blank) rating? A lot of things go into that possession. If that's Tyson Chandler, does he get there? yes. NBA defenses break down when the ball goes middle and that's why teams don't want the ball to see paint. Trust me, we have 3 man rotations that happen all the time.

One question.
Do you think you can compete with 2k14 (next-gen) this year.

I think that's for us to decide...

Anyway, the stationary dribbling animations looks awesome in my opinion. Is the dribbling + contact as smooth as this? I can't confirm this with the trailer.

It's also a little unsettling that you're choosing to only engage with the posters that only say positive things. I agree you should avoid the trolls. But there are a few people here that voice concerns or dislikes in a respectful manner, but they get crickets.
I wouldn't say that's true at all. And by looking through your previous posts on this thread I commend your enthusiasm. Though when you say things like, "They did a blog on defensive SETTINGS. Most of those settings have been in Live already!" Really? can you show me a picture of Live 10's screens? When you compare them it's laughable. Have you played a 5v5 game and used them yet?

"Live said the ball was 100% tangible. That's not news. That's been done before and people whined about some of the potential side effects." - What game has had a physics based dribbling system?

"How will the Live apologist excuse this since this has been a hallmark of the series?" What kind of response is this? What does this do for the Sim basketball community? Why would a Live fan who comes on here want to read that when you haven't even played the game yet? I would love to answer any question that you have, though I'm not going to answer an uneducated rant.

We'll see what they have. I'm excited to see it myself. I don't lack confidence one bit in anything were doing, though for me to come out and say that we're going to be better than them in year one after 4 year hiatus would be completely disrespectful. I know a couple of the devs over there and I know they work really hard as well. They have made a very good game for awhile now. We're up for the challenge going forward and I think the Simulation basketball community should benefit from it.

Can I hold you to that?

I like the contact personally. We have different bumps depending on size and speed of the collision. I'll be awaiting your feedback.
