The fact that this is a next gen title is embarrassing. Looks like complete crap.

I don't understand why everyone is so hard on the game.......

I haven't played Madden since like 07 so I just downloaded the Demo for PS3 and it seems pretty cool. Some animation are a little off, but overall I think it's way better than I remember it in 07.

Also there's no reason in the world anyone should be praising NB2k. While the graphics do look amazing I must say the game is broken. I think I stopped playing in 2k11 or 12. All I remember is playing online and the frequency that people can make 3's, steal balls and basically play a game that doesn't resemble basketball was enough for me to never play the game again.

A football game that I did love online (when it was controlled) was All-Pro Football, then it went to crap as well. Personally I think all sports games are just major cheese online that's why unless your playing in leagues I would stay away.

Back on topic, I hope they release some gameplay soon. If it's at least like current gen with updated graphics I will be happy. It's only a Video Game people, more important things in life.........

EA is probably paying QJB at this point, I don't see how this is considered a next-gen title. This is what current-gen could have been.

Did you or did you not predict greatness for past Maddens as well???

You know who has been a prophet about these games? ME! (and others or course)

I said the game would NEVER, EVER be good on this gen unless they did a total re-write of the game from scratch. That was met with a chorus of OMG then we will have to wait a couple years, etc. etc., I said it does not matter better to have a good game in a couple of years instead of this mess. They never started over and haven't given us one good game. They had a chance to start over many times and even now with new consoles and they're still trying to make chicken salad out of chicken droppings.

If I was wrong with my predictions for YEARS AND YEARS, I would stop making them and re-assess why I've been so bone-achingly wrong for all those years.

I would feel foolish and embarrassed if I spammed the baseball forums guaranteeing a New York Mets World Series victory every year, and likely people would just laugh at me and take nothing I said seriously after a year or two. To then continue calling for the Mets to win the World Series every year people would just write me off as a fanatical fan, or just a fanatic.

I've been a Met fan since I could walk but it doesn't mean I'm dead sure that they're going to win the World Series every year right up until the day they're mathematically eliminated, that's totally illogical.

You're sickened by the negativity, but the negativity has a foundation and can be backed up with evidence.

Your positivity on the other hand makes no sense. All of a sudden a company that has never been great is now going to be great? Why would we expect a great football game from a company that can't make a good one?

Let them make a good one and we'll talk. Wishing it and being "positive" as a consumer isn't going to make it happen, wishing Santa Claus to be real isn't going to make him real, even if we wish it really, really hard.
I explained in a previous post the other day exactly why I'm positive and why I'm set on Madden 15 blowing everyone away and how if it doesn't ill be joining the Titanic with the rest of you guys.

Ea doesn't pay any of the GC's that's not the case.

If Madden 15 doesn't blow everyone away will Madden 16 do it?

I think the current team is solid, but I usually think that. When I buy the game, I feel cheated due to all the crashes, bugs, incomplete features, etc. Starting this year I'm really not buying Madden... I didn't buy CG, and I'm not getting a new system yet. In some sense I support these guys too - just not financially. Who knows, maybe in 3-5 years they'll have made a next gen football sim.

We've never had former football guys be the leadership team for a football video game like this. These guys know football they don't have to know about Superstar or my player, they know the X's and O's of the game of football.
I bolded some stuff. I'm not interested in investing in an early version of a football game that will be good later - only in buying one that is good now. As I said elsewhere, if I want that experience I'll back games on Kickstarter and cross my fingers that they get finished AND come out the way I hoped. Nothing about your post is false: these guys have tons of knowledge and potential, and I hope some day we see the actual. We shouldn't slam these devs for taking a job at Tiburon, but they still haven't made the game they want to make and know we'll love. Odds are pretty good they won't get the chance: no one else has. I'm not feeding EA $60/year to give them or anyone else a shot. That company needs to invest more on the product and less on licenses and ads.

Yeah, but look at that beautiful golden helmet *drools*.

I'd say the graphics are pretty solid. This post is in part about "Next-Gen Visuals," is it not? The lighting looks fantastic.

Need some work on Kap's face (btw, it's Kap, not Kaep, as per Kap himself).

That was what I heard. Also, is this how the game will play? All zoomed in and in slo-mo?

I think I'll stay in the shadows as it seems that a true NFL simulation has eluded Tiburon again.
