Re: Madden 25 Next Gen PS4 Gameplay War In the Trenches

It's like EA isn't even trying anymore. I'm not purchasing a port I did it once with Madden 06 and I vowed it would be the last time I ever did.

I agree 1000% with you. Unfortunately there are more 2k fanboys here than actual football fans so they are stuck on just hating EA because we all know EA is the devil ((sarcasm).

I don't even think most of the fanboys care about or even like football that much...They are more concerned with finding every little imperfection and jumping on a bandwaggon to complain, criticize and outright disrespect the guys and gals who work on the game. There is a way to tactfully want change and still get your point across in a way that will be heard. But I think they actually want EA to feel some sort of pain or leave these forums...The fanboys would be fine with that because they really don't care about the game improving.

EA devs don't care what these fanboys say about 2K...I recall one of them even saying in response to the NFL agreement and chatter about 2K..."people need to Deal With it"...which is a very cordial way of saying **** You Fanboy. I don't blame them and honestly I've seen threads on the 2K forum locked when there is too much complaining...I don't agree with that and do not advocate that here but its quite interesting that you can complain for 300 pages here about Madden but let 5-6 people have a complaint about 2K and that thread is locked with the quickness. Then the person locking the thread will try and play it off like "you guys are too emotional"...when in reality he/she is the only person who seems to catch feelings...Things that make ya go hmmm.

Last thing and then I'm out. Lol. It's probably difficult to decide what do work on from year to year. So many on here prioritize so many things. Some what 100% sim gameplay with realistic penalties ext. (I'm in that group) some want photo realistic uniforms and graphics, some want an extremely deep franchise, some want perfect online, some MUT, some crowds and atmosphere. Some want it all lol. The list goes on and on. This is what I get when I read comments. We all have different opinions of what the perfect football game is and we want Madden make that game for all of us. Can anyone do that? Ha ha

They took it nobody gave 2k anything ..i say that to say this ea needs to step they game up if they want to take it back .. ,

You're right we have a very long way to go. No game will ever please everybody. In fact there is not one thing in life that will please every single person in the world. Get your mind out of the gutter now... lol... But there was a company that did a pretty good job on the 360/PS3 sadly that was only for one game. That's over now though. Madden is making the promises we want to hear. For now? It doesn't look good. For later? To be determined.

A lot of guys tried that, I did in a post only ten back. But when EA says they won't add bad snaps, or get line penalties into the game because tourney guys won't like that and then post things like "people need to deal with that". They are not saying F# you fanboy, they are saying F# you football fan, play madden ball and like it.

You do remember Madden 06 for 360 don't you? There was nothing port about it. That was the biggest problem with it. It was a bare bones game that started from the ground up. It would have been much better had it been a port. Ha ha
