but with current gen they were doing the most they could with what they had to work with and wouldn't be able to really get those things right until next gen.

Why would anyone buy this excuse? I mean, ITS BEEN DONE ON CURRENT GEN!!!

You cant say "not possible on current gen" when it has actually been proven it can be done.

Then, you cant say "wait until next gen" and then when next gen comes out say how it's the first installation and things couldnt be implented because of that.

Seriously, enough of the excuses why you cannot do things.

I see why they are not showing real-time 11-on-11 gameplay now, its because the only way people can tell the difference between current gen and next-gen is if they see it in slow motion. When you watch the game in real time, I doubt people will notice a difference between current and the next-gen version.

This is just more adding new paint to an old broken down engine. Let just face it people, if they don't build a new game-play/animation engine for Madden this game will never be a sim or even good football game. It's not going to take me a half of gen to realize this now. If EA renews the NFL license we will NEVER see a real/true NFL football game on the levels of NBA 2K, MLB The Show, and even Fifa, heck I wouldn't be surprised if NBA Live surpassed Madden.

You dont get to tout things to your customers, not deliver, and then expect them to not call you out on it or not be angry about it.

This is 100% on them quit acting like the customers should be patient and wait for yet another "next year."
Can we be patient enough until the game drops and then give them our concerns. It's 10 days, not a year. When the game dissapoints and in certain areas, by all means, let them have it.

Also, I mentioned a few pages back, JP get's his info from well respected GCers. They tell him to listen to Rex, that the sim foundation is starting to be built and then the bits and pieces will fall into place after that.

Until another team or developer comes in, that sim game plan probably won't change. It doesn't matter if you kick, scream or holler or throw your monitor, this teams plan is in place and isn't changing.

It's discouraging from a NFL gamer's point of view that every so often the teams change and another one comes in.

Let's hope this team stays in one place or they will be tearing up a different business model and starting all over again.

Clint said he saw a few increased penalties with the new systems, but don't expect PI for another few years at least, based on the recent interviews.

It looks just like CG to me. I just am not buying into the hype which really sucks.

Now that is simply inexcusable. There is no reason or excuse that can be told to me as to why PI doesn't work.

We're on the most sophisticated gaming systems ever, and the PI system is still broken? Games on the PS2, Dreamcast, Sega Genesis days had PI working properly.

For a game 25 years in the making to not have proper penalties is not acceptable.

Anyone see the Monday night game a few weeks back when Jared Allen sacked Eli manning while being blocked? He had a blocker between him and Eli and just grabbed Eli's jersey and held on. When will we see that kinda organic gameplay?

Of course it does! So is Black Flag and Battlefield 4. Look on youtube, they have current gen and next gen version comparisons of theses games and the graphics are almost the same with next gen having improved because of lighting etc. Why do people think that next gen versions of the games that are out now on PS3/xbox360 are going to be totally different?
