You will not convince them to like Madden or give Madden a chance or give Madden a pass. They don't want to like Madden. They want their old girlfriend to come back, but she ain't coming back and the only place to direct their anger is on this board. You have good insight and obviously do your homework. I know its seems far fetched but I'd actually like to have a conversation about Madden every once in a while.

I know it's what you were going for but this is unecessary and so far from the truth.

The old 2k/madden wars may linger but have pretty much dissipated. People just want to play football which is why you couldn't be more wrong.

People here are passionate because they want Madden in the WORST way to succeed.

I remember in college I had Madden 05 on constantly. In between classes I was playing, listening to Bruno, checking depth charts, etc. It was one of the most immersed games I have ever played.

I never played 2k so spare me the trolling nonsense that people don't want it to succeed.


I want to get back to fully being immersed in the game which I haven't been for a while.

I hate when people do this. People have been giving valid reasons for why they voice their concerns and then you just go and disregard it as something so feeble as "wanting their old girlfriend back". Yea whatever dude.
