I can understand his concern. If something as important as 30 team control and possibly editing players is out then why wouldn't those be out?

it's not like 2K is dishing out any info, even after yesterday's event.
We can express opinions only through what guys like Aaron who were there tell us, so it's perfectly fine that we "jump to conclusions".
If 2K releases some official announcement/video/blog post, I can bet many doubts and complaints can be eliminated.

I don't know anything about designing videogames, but have to admit I'm curious why so many current-gen features/modes were removed when these next-gen systems have more memory and disc space for the developers to work with?

You'd think that taking 2K14 current-gen features as a BASE and going forward would be the way to go. This doesn't look good for those of us that like to use Classic rosters.

Excited about The Park, I hope you can create your squad and play other squads and be ranked and even win prizes.

My main concern is can certain options be turned on/off in MyGM? I'm willing to give the MyGM mode a try if stuff like staff and player interviews, and that other crap can be turned off. I don't care about any of that stuff. I just want to make trades, scout, draft, try to build the best team I can, and play my season (or watch a few CPU vs CPU matchups in my season). If I wanted to bother with cutscenes, interviews, conversation trees, and whatnot, I would play MyPlayer. I don't need RPG elements in my sports games. That's why I have Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

Once full details release about MyGM, that will be what helps me decide on if I'm going to stick with current-gen 2K14 or purchase the next-gen version. So far, I think I will pass. Maybe 2K15 will be worth my time and money.

I kno tons of people that play 2k from my friends iRL to dudes on my PSN friends list. I have never heard of anyone wanting to control all 30 teams, or play just a season or playoff. Just like with Madden. I be like damn people actually do stuff like control all the teams. If i never came on OS i wouldnt even kno season mode & playoff exsist. Because i just dont see the point in playing those modes anymore. This is not like when 2k removed Crew mode. That mode was thrown in the bushes temporarily because it was broken. I just think removing season, playoff, full team control & custom soundtracks were removed because such a small minority utilized those features. With that said i can kinda see why some1 who has played the game that way for a long time is pee'd off

smh

I'm saddened that Association has been removed. Been a hobby of mine since I was 10. smh. Really disappointed 2k. I hate connected careers on Madden and this sounds exactly the same. sickens me.

I am also concerned that in MYGM I will be player-locked to MyPlayer and be forced to play just him. What if I want to be other guys and run the court and shoot with other guys? What if I want to play the whole game and not have to skip or just watch when my MyPlayer is subbed out?

I don't like the sound of this.
