Does it not kick in until the animation of firing out of their stance ends? A little concerning to me.
I was gonna ask if true step applied to the OL. In that Chiefs deep dive OLine clip, there is a TON of foot sliding going on. I will say the quick fighting between the Chief and Bronco in the feel it trailer was HOT

Noticed that to. It was shown on purpose. Now go watch the defense when they're showing other things. ''True Step" isn't so true. I like the upgrades, but they're still using smoke and mirrors on a lot of stuff.

That said, they've kept my interest enough with today's vids that I'm leaning on keeping my preorder.

Even the deepest 2K stans have to give props to those blocking videos.

Yes we find flaws in everything (including the 2K Next-Gen trailer), but EA sold me here.

Yea I saw this even tho it is kind of hard to see it since the cam is focus on the oline/dline mainly. I think they are heading in the right direction for the next gen. Will it all be perfect? No it will not. But at least EA is starting to try and get their act together. These videos show that. It just takes time. Rome wasn't built a day. While yes some of these things like double team blocking and better line play should have been added years ago. Like the old saying goes "Better late then never". But overall the game looks a little bit better then current gen.

The had the entire console generation to make improvements. In many game-play aspects they literally took steps back from the PS2 and Xbox versions.

Having an actual realistic pocket which was the biggest complaint (OL-DL interaction) = A LOT better IMO

I agree with you... My original comment was addressed to the people saying the QB drop backs looked aweful.. My point was that I usually am looking at the WR when I snap the ball and not the QB!

Graphics don't look much better. Line play is more realistic. Just seems to be a small improvement. I think 2k just spoiled us with their trailer, so that we can't appreciate anything else.
