Yo, F the whole government shutdown ; I couldn't go to drill this month so I can't put my 300$ drill check toward a PS4. I'm bummed as hell right now.

Here is a fun read/trip down memory lane for you guys:

First 360 Screens and Video for NBA 2K6

Highlights:
  • Debates on whether or not video is in-game footage or not (sound familiar?)
  • Wondering what a 2K football game would look like on the next-gen console (again, familiar?)
  • Lots of ALL CAPS POSTS and cursing
  • Many posts worrying it will be just like last-gen but with prettier graphics.
  • At least one claim of "RIP NBA Live". Yep. 8 years ago. It's still alive (for now)!
  • The thread lived for 5 days and accumulated 249 posts. It took just an hour and 35 minutes to get the same number of posts in today's thread!


And, here is 2K6 Bron:



Pretty cool to look back on it all.

It's in-game footage tho from the PS4, says clearly from the start. Only thing they used which wasn't in-game to create the trailer was the cameras to allow for the best angles and shots. I don't undestand how people can get confused by this, saw some other people saying it was CGI lol.
