The whole "Sapphire" thing is nothing more than Madden is doing with their "Base" and "Elite" versions of the cards

i.e Kevin Durant has 91 3pt and 85 Shoot in Traffic. His sapphire card might have 95 3pt and 91 shoot in traffic.

It's basically just an upgrade of the gold/silver/bronze card of that player. Probably why we saw a sapphire MWP

Besides playing through the schedule of teams, Im pretty sure the Gold Tournaments would be the only way of getting gold players other than paying for them

You guys are overreacting about sapphires, LD2K literally just explained that sapphires are improved versions of players probably depending on performance if they are current players or prime versions if they are legends, enough of assuming the players on the screen are what you are gonna get.

You can always buy packs, if you don't enjoy playing vs the CP3, Kobe, KD, LBJ, and D12 line up you're not force to play gold tournaments for gold players.

I understand that.

I never stated I didn't enjoy playing vs those lineups. I said I can't wait to play those lineups.

You must be one of the scrubs who uses that type of lineup how hard you are defending it lmao.

Oh well, not trying to bicker about it. Like I said, I can't wait to play the CP3, Kobe, KD, LBJ, and D12 lineups this year.
