It's funny how these people don't mention the vast improvements in foot planting which is something they griped on for years.

Now it's oh you have to dribble too much to get around people and why isn't he smiling when going for a layup...
Its time for you to stop with the madness of name calling and trolling. You're seriously on thin ice right about now.

EDIT: As far as evidence goes, I think the Ignite engine is looking sharp for EA's other sports game, so I assume that should help out Live a lot. Not to mention the bouncetek reviews have been 95% positive, and this is coming from real people playing the game, not all paid website reviewers. Even our own trusted OS gave the system positive reviews. That's evidence enough, along with the various articles, screenshots, interviews, and trailers.
You mean the bouncetek reviews that no one has seen in a 5 on 5 scenario. I am sorry there are just too many issues with that trailer, yes Kyrie Irving looks good but the other player models are way too bulky, look at the start of the video players arms don't look like that and why do the player models still look so plastic.

I like the arena and player detail. Not crazy about how at the jump ball all the players jumped into a run animation in sync.

.. I also disagree about being close minded. This company has something to prove. All of this hogwash about casual and hardcore fans, and looking into the future means nothing at all until they first get a freaking game out the door.

Secondly, Im sorry but the use of the term close minded is off here. As I mentioned about dribbling, theyve been talking about that for months on end now. People are past that but yet it seems to be the only thing that keeps coming up. If they want to sell this game they're going to have to sell it on other things besides dribbling.

Eventually all of the comparisons on the overall gameplay are going to come to light. They can splice up video and hide wonky animations in their trailers up the ying yang, but all it takes is that one person to expose the right issue to give them major problems again in people's minds. ala boozer jumping from the ft line, or some ridiculous glitch and the trust factor is all of sudden broken again.

I don't think EA needs a defense, they need to bust their buts to prove this game belongs out there with the other companies, not that we should feel lucky they have something out there...thats a bunch of bull. Its nex gen, we don't need excuses anymore.
At the end of the day both companies have something to prove for me. EA need to prove they can get a game out based on the vision they have set and 2k need to show me they can fix the same issues that EA is trying to correct. I don't knock no one for feeling the way they do about either but its like people try their hardest to get people to like one over the other. Even tho it was dumb to put a hockey guy in charge, I know that he was right about one thing and thats b-ball has been stuck for over a decade.

We don't need to be reminded about EA past every time something Live get brought up, its annoying to most but I know how to ignore. When will people let go and just let the new team prove themselves?

What just baffles me is that we have yet to see any actual gameplay footage of pretty much all next gen sports games, with the exception of FIFA.

I mean, these games will be launched in less than two months, give us some freaking footage, and i mean actual gameplay footage, how we actualy play our games.

Either it looks bad, it's not ready, or they haven't yet kicked in their marketing.

I'm hoping that they need more polish and real marketing is yet to start.

2K and Live Need to prove themselves since its a new generation

Live isn't the only one(they just have to prove the most of the 2)

A mediocre 7.5 game outselling one if the best games in sports gaming for years after a 3 year developmental catastrophe?

Ridiculous.

I don't know what alternate reality Live fanboys live in. They don't appear to be satisfied with "Live might be kind of good and might kind of do okay." which is really its best case scenario right now.

EA's past is completely relevant. Clean slates don't erase that, especially since they've given themselves 2 clean slates already.

People will let it go when the new team actually proves themselves, not before.
