Nice impressions fellas. They were fair and I'm glad to see that some of the games strengths were covered. Lol @ the Abby Wambach comparison by Jayson. Good stuff.

Re: Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 Demo Roundtable

Is someone going to open up a "post your impressions" thread for PES 2014?

PES clearly is the king of simulation and realistic soccer.....I cant believe that they have taken sports gaming to this level of realism. Madden needs to really take a lesson,,,,or several from PES. Konami is really pulling away from EA in my eyes....FIFA's crab running linear AI play style couldnt keep my interest to even complete the shortened demo quarters to complete the game. While PES had me restarting several games because of the dynamics and organic gameplay

I cant wait to play the full game

I don't know if it's file size or what but the animations on the PS3 demo seemed choppy to me, like run-stop run-stop instead of smooth running. I have preferred PES in the past over FIFA but the FIFA 14 demo felt better to me, although corner kick goals still go in way too much.

PES is just a flat-out better representation of the sport. I've got both games pre-ordered and can't wait to play them both.
