I can not believe it. What are we discussing? I read of people who will not buy NBA 2K14 current-gen and wait for NBA 2K14 next-gen, but it is obvious! If you have planned to buy a PS4 or Xbox One, you can not wait for November for NBA 2K14 have?!? What sense does it buy NBA 2K14 cg if you will buy a next-gen consolle? You have money to burn?
I'll take the next gen in two years, when prices will drop: so buy i'll buy NBA 2K14 certainly because it's the best I can offer the current-gen

YOU might take what im saying as a matter of me doing something wrong but you dont know for SURE so "aw its not serious" when YOU KNOW bs happens in 2k and some things you have no control over. You just even acknowledged that 3's need to be toned down so you acknowledged that it was a problem.....even tho you were speaking of online ppl im sure some bs turned you into a offline gamer b/c you dont want to deal with the "unsimism" right? Like what the brother RED KAFE said about the 3pters thats why he thumbed you up lol so why would you say others ppl problem is not that serious when its still legit?

All im saying is the game can be more realistic and im stating what takes away from the games realism. We all want the game to be realistic right....... its a waste of time trying to stop ppl from complaining or stating their opinion, I've even seen some mufs trying to make ppl feel bad b/c they have an OP. If you dont someone has to, its all needed to make a game better, like a extra push bruh.

Let em complain dude if 2k wants to hire you they will lol
I've always been an offline guy. Never play online. I've probably played 5-10 games online since 2k10.

I'm 31 and have been playing every Live game since Live 95 and I've seen the progression of graphics, AI and gameplay in the games. We are truly spoiled nowadays when all we can do is complain about the, relatively, small problems bball games still have.

I get your point and i do acknowledge that there are still things with the game that they should tweak and fix in order for it to be greater than it is. But looking back, i guess i have another kind of appreciation for what we have right now. I can see three the faults and see that the overall product is great and has just evolved and become better each year, even though it still has room to be better.

I do think that people who strictly play quick or ranked games online against random opponents don't understand the mechanics of things. They complain about things not working or what have you and then you see that they aren't playing the game the way it was designed.
I've seen people complain about too many 3 pointers being hit but at the same time i see videos were they themselves dunk unrealisticly in traffic or throw alley oops that connect when they shouldn't in real life, but you don't see them complaining about that being something that should be fixed. Some people seem to focus on one specific issue and not realizing that in order for that to get fixed other parts of the game need to be tweaked too, in order to get a balance.

Sorry for the rant, but I hope i make a somewhat understandable point

I guarantee casual players aren't anticipating reading multiple developer insights,..Most have probably seen the trailer/next gen trailer, saw the commercial, heard that crew is back...have maybe checked out gameplay vids and are all set to buy...
No I'm not. I'm saying you need well produced developer videos to educate the casuals in an exciting and compelling way. Written insights aren't even a necessity if the videos are in depth. What casual isn't going to be excited about better controls, sig shot comparisons, and watching a bunch of highlight chasedown blocks with explanatory graphics set to rocking music?

Casuals are demanding in a different way than we are. 2K14 does not appeal to them in the ways that they demand on first or second inspection. They need to be clued in on things they would appreciate beyond old animations on instagram. Just look at the underwhelming reactions all around.

Wouldn't an updated video for the prostick like one of the following excite the casuals? Imagine if we had something like that but done in Momentus style for all the new features.

I'll bet that one is coming, but it's coming awfully late. There should be a ton more of these and started a month ago.

Basically I'm saying they need to do at least what they did last year, but do it in an even more exciting and instructional way. Maybe with NBA players talking about the feature. I miss the old 2K10 and 2K11 commercials.

The game has ISSUES one person can have an opinion about one thing while another has another all of the issues in 2k have been brought up not just 3pters, i think b/c of the quote unquote complainers tho. So im just saying everybody has their lane and everybody is helping 2k make a better game they want EVERYBODYS feedback good and bad. I think they play a big role in why things change believe it or not. Not saying complaining IN GENERAL is good which I oppose and im sure you oppose all around especially b/c your old school. This is a just a game tho bruh ppl have OP's good or bad

I understand what your saying tho, I can see your point of view. We just have different ones. You mad old school tho cuzz lol

I love at the 4:10 mark when Bargnani completed that 3 pt play, and him and his teammate (forget who) jump in the air and bump each other, and Ronnie says "oh look at that animation"! Dude, that was in last year.
