With that being said.... I like the demo, i hate the fact madden views the 49ers as the greatest team ever. They should have made it best for the madden 25 ann. For how much they are in love with them. I cant stand the camera angle it does not give me a chance to see who is who... If its a db or lb at the line idk why they did that unless you have like 60" tv and i have a 32 btw. I get the whole all madden thing ... Its suppose to be hard and it will be if you dont play sim and keep it a close game... But kapernick going 10-11 100+ yds and a td then you got frank gore he averages like 9 yds per carry and when i do stop him for 3yds i feel like i accomplished something... I get that nfl has turned offense friendly but dont take the fun outa defense... Ima ravens fan so i live for defense... My overall feeling is i am brainwashed by madden so even getting the game for a roster update i would do it... I love football and madden is the closets i can ever get to the nfl gridiron

I hope in the retail the level of big hits is toned down. Some of this stuff is disgusting. Next gen they really need to evaluate some of the animations they put in this game and the frequency that they happen. Also wish the cpu defense didn't react and move so quickly at times. I know the demo teams have strong defenses but some things just aren't realistic with the defensive movement.

My guess Sage is that the big hits will not be toned down for certain teams, namely 49ers, Seahawks. That's how they distinguish defenses. The 49ers and Seahawks will have more big hit animations than other teams and will cause more fumbles than other teams. It was that way last year and this demo is in line with that.

The game just lacks balance and has lacked balance. Sometimes I see great things that look realistic. Other times I see defenders move and lighting speed to make plays, others times I see players move in slow motion to let guys get past. I have the cpu take over players I'm controlling and move and shift them and slow them down. Just really weird how things work out and play at times. Tiburon really should be past tactics like that.

Could not agree more. Too often my players will slow down with a receiver right next to them. The ball can be traveling 25 yards across the field and a defender 3 yards away from the receiver gets stuck in the mud and can't close those 3 yards. Bizarre.

Also, speeds change for strange reasons. Watch how fast the Ravens move in a hurry up. I've literally had passes completed 30 yards down the field against me and the ball is set and snapped in 4 seconds. Impossible. O linemen are running sub 4 40's as they hustle to line of scrimmage and somehow are still stone walling the d linemen.. Flacco is twice as fast as any other time if he were running the ball. Watch Ray Rice on a breakaway run and then watch Flacco on a hurry up and tell me who's faster. Hands down Flacco. It's stupid.

The Ravens threw a 47 yd TD pass to Smith during one of the cracked out hurry ups and the scoring play was an elapsed time of :03. 47 yards in 3 seconds. It'd be different if it didn't feel so super, unrealistically fast. It was super sped up beyond anything at any other point in the game.

Some stuff that hasn't been mentioned yet...
The handoff animation is much more fluid. Can't really tell except in replays but it looks a lot nicer.

Kick returners still have that imaginary line where they won't return a kick in the end zone even if they have plenty of room to return it.

The game is definitely smoother gameplay and visually.

One tidbit i did find on the madden website was that it said Madden now reflects today's wide open NFL. Might explain why the game is so wide open now.
