Same reason a few years back the game shipped without Fatigue and it took almost a month to patch it in. Limited funding on Quality Control, and a lack of passion/caring.

I am still waiting on my patch to fix the grey facemasks that are plaguing the PS3 title because of the same dang thing. I mean seriously, when does it stop? Yay, you just slammed one of our title updates, to fix an issue that could have been clearly seen in about 30, check that, 10 min, of testing the game. Pathetic, really! There has got to be some way to get the NFL to release the contract that is keeping other companies from developing the game next gen. We have dealt with this crap for almost 10 freaking years! 10! Now we are possibly looking to have deal with the same damn roller coaster for another 10 years? I'll be honest with you, I hope lawsuits start hitting this greedy company hard. I hope it hits them so hard, they sink. This is not so much directed at the developers, but at the suits at the top who continuously allow this to happen.

I seriously feel sorry for the guys who will buy this game retail and have to deal with this because they have no Internet connection to download the patch!

If this was my company, I would be ashamed, and I guarantee, if this kept up, heads would roll!

Not sure if this was said, but this tells me something about how people claim EA's demo's are earlier builds. Ok if this was an earlier build, how does this same thing get put in the final release? See that's why a lot of times I just chuckle when someone claims this is an early build and the final build will be way better. Seriously I just LOL..............

Sad to say that I was listening to a couple of popular YouTubers last night who went to EA and played the game. They were talking about how the build they played was so much better than the demo. They actually referred to the demo as a## compared to the build they had played. I mean really? What is this company doing? I want another company to be able to develop a game next gen. Seriously, it is time we petitioned the NFL to explain what is happening, and why this is wrong to do. There has got to be something we can do. Other companies need to have the right to develop NFL games. I do not want Next Gen tainted by the stank that is EA Sports. The only titles, I buy from them are the football titles. I've sworn not to buy anything else with this company name on the box. The ONLY reason EA gets my money for the football title, is because I have to buy from them to get a licensed football title. Man, I hate this company!

This just puts a bad taste in my mouth. THIS is what weve been dealing with for the past 9 years. How this goes undiscovered is beyond me....Now i know theres no guarantee of any other company attempting to jump back into the Football Gaming market, But damnit, it will just be a relief when/if that exclusivity deal expires.
