NBA 2K14 Features Crew Mode - 3-on-3 or 5-on-5

I dont really get why everyone calling it a shadow of it self. If you have the ability to play a 5 v 5 full court NBA game I think it could only be better. The gameplay in 2k14 looks like it is going to blow 2k11 out of the water.

If my assumptions of it being 5 v 5 NBA rule based are correct (Gonna have to wait and see) the only real difference is the presentation. Maybe its because Im not big on presentation anyways but I could care less that its on the blacktop with no jerseys. Like I posted earlier 90% of the people I played had jerseys that just made the game look stupid.

I think they should give the option to pick an NBA teams jersey set. That way when Im home I can pick any of the available home jerseys for the Knicks and vice versa for away. IMO keeping it simple like this will be so much easier for the server

Playbooks might be missing as well in this Blacktop-hacked-into-Crew incarnation. That's huge for those who want to play some version of real pro ball. As is all the "presentation" stuff. Presentation is a huge part of the fun.

Good point i'm sure there are a lot of people who do really enjoy those things but it just doesn't appeal to me guess thats why I think the mode will be fine on the blacktop. And playing with 5 friends who I play basketball with in RL took out the playbooks for me. So yea I guess im alittle bias haha

I still can't believe 2K actually threw this "Crews" Mode on the Blacktop. Can't wait to see how everything turns out lol.

Whether the games are played on the blacktop or in an arena its still going to be the same gameplay so I dont get why everyone thinks the mode is going to be terrible because of this.

But like Ive said in a few of my other posts. Im not big about presentation. So I could care less if Im playing on the blacktop or in Madison Square Garden. Neither changes the experience for me. And I play the game on mute most of the time so dont gotta deal with the terrible blacktop annoucer. Also thought 90% of the created jerseys looked dumb. Wish they would just let you pick an NBA jersey set to have as your crews baseline. Just my opinion but its clear a lot of people really enjoyed the customization so hopefully it returns either at the start or in a DLC.

Im still assuming that a 5 v 5 full court game they announced will consist of a ref and 4 quarters. If thats not the case then I agree its a joke

i can't believe ronnie's saying all of us "no crew no buy" people should pre order the game now after showing us that sack of crap. you slap the crew name on blacktop, and think that'll make us happy??
