Final death blow to the series. It's over, people.

I feel sick. The series is more or less over. It'll just be a stripped down, glitch-ridden version of All-Pro Football if they try to keep it going at this rate.

Thanks, Ed. I hope they load your settlement money on a pallet and drop it on your head.

Re: No SEC in Future College Football Video Games

I really believe this is the beginning of the end.

Time I went out and bought NCAA Football '11 as I already have '04' '06 for the Xbox and I still have '13 as well as well as '14 for the 360.

I can see this franchise becoming difficult to find just like NCAA Basketball and College Hoops when they stopped making them.

I really do believe it's coming to an end. I don't believe all major universities will allow their likeness to be in the game, particularly when their individual conferences are frowning upon it.

Listen UP EA! You want to keep selling this game? Get off your asses and go get a copy of Forza 3 or 4. Design next year's game with a fully functional editor, such as the one Forza has had for the last 4 years, allow us to create and upload logos, share artwork, share rosters, and modify our own damn uniforms. As the years progress add new features to the game to entice players to keep buying. Quit adding and removing features from the game! Build on what you have and just keep building! Geez EA, your Greed has gotten you into a world of crap! Wake Up! Give the gamers the freedom to help you build your game. Work with us for a change and quit worrying about how to improve your damned bottom line.

I think this will hurt CFB as well. A lot of football fans will just buy Madden now and in turn will begin to follow NFL more and CFB less.

Wait

It costs $45k to go to Tulsa?

This conversation aside, that's crazy.

Well no Kidding!
1) The conferences are part of the NCAA
2) This was done by voting, So this means the majority of Presidents of those member institutions voted NO. We don't know if the votes were close or unanimous; But my bet is it was Unanamous.
3) So if the vote was NO on this level, what makes anyone think 150 schools are going to reverse their thinking and vote YES to the CLC/EA agreement? It's the same Lawsuit with the same consequences.
4) Someone is pulling our chain promising a game in the future. Shame on them.
