Maybe. hopefully we will get an explanation about it in the future.

As in the old cut scene that showed them measure for a first down. I kind of missed that, always built up the suspense. Especially on fourth down.

Another observation: Ratings are much more balanced and spread out than in M13, which should be a great thing as long as they keep these for the Week 1 roster and updates (which tend to get worse as the season goes along).

The only ratings I've seen that aren't spread enough are MCV and SPD/ACC. The PUR rating is also still way too high for defensive linemen and ELU rating still way too high for small backs, quick receivers, and return specialists since it acts as the BTK rating in Madden.

Let's hope they keep it this way with the draft classes too.

Got a chance to get my hands on the Xbox 360 demo and played 3 games.

The first two were as the Seahawks and the Ravens on All-Pro. The third game was with the Seahawks once more but this time on All-Madden.

Pros:
*The game is fluid and crisp. Never once did I feel like I had lost control of my guy or had the feeling he was unresponsive or delayed in my actions like in Madden 13.
*The totally passing control really feels like I have control over where I throw it. Countless times in 13 I would throw a pass to the outside and my QB would throw it inside instead.
*All-Madden seems legit. Usually I feel cheated on this difficulty. This time I felt instead of making them godlike they actually played smarter football. I felt like I legitimately lost rather than feeling cheated.
*Line interaction looks and feels so much better. I like that I'm seeing battles taking place.
*Loving the new stamina system. Thought it was great for NCAA and am looking it in Madden as well.
*The new impact stick feels nice and more natural. I'm also loving how it effects and plays off stamina. Also really liking the new tackle button, it feels very fluid.
*Jukes and Stiff Arms are effective but don't seem overpowered. Unlike last year where Jukes usually stopped your guy completely in his tracks and stiff arms were almost completely useless.
*Low rated guys feel playable. I never once felt like someone on my team was completely useless, even when they did show some weaknesses.
*Fumbles, fumbles, fumbles! Finally my team gets just as many fumbles as the cpu does. Last year it seemed near impossible to get a fumble.
*Interceptions finally seem realistic. I'm not seeing the same insane superman interceptions I have before, every one I threw felt like it was legitimately my fault. I also love that even though your player gets his hands on the ball it's not automatic. It can still be knocked out and it can still be called out of bounds.

Cons:
*All-Pro seems anticlimactic, even though the cpu was able to keep up and even tie, I never got the feeling I could actually lose (however I did have this feeling on All-Madden).
*Trucking and Running up the middle seems useless to me. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to effectively run up the middle even with a bruiser such as Marshawn Lynch.
*Precision modifier is definitely a learning curve. While it seems like it's effective I haven't had a ton of luck with it so far.
*While man coverage is solid again this year, zone coverage, while tighter still seems broken to me. I'm hoping this will be fixed by retail or by patch.
*Defensive line play seems completely underpowered. While I'm glad I'm not seeing 5 sacks a game by the LE it still seems like I'm not seeing the defensive line break through (I only saw one sack in my three games). Disappointed as I felt NCAA 14 got this part perfect so I'm hoping I see this fixed at retail.
*Fumbles, while I listed as a pro because I feel that fumbles can happen to anyone on any play, they seem to happen far too often. I would say at least 6 in my 3 games.
*Final con is injuries. While I like that I'm seeing more injuries than last year, they seem to happen far too often and far too limited (abdominal seems to be the main injury). I would like to see injuries that relate to point of impact.

Notes: While I'm still going some of these things are fixed I'm having a lot of fun. Day 1 buy for me. I'm really excited to see what the whole package will look and feel like in owner mode.

I think the locomation is much improved. I am suprised EA did not highlight that this year like usual. Really enjoying the demo. Rodgers is crazy accurate. Only issues are sometimes can not turn up field after catching flat route, instead player runs in a circle first. Also have not been able to sub to 2 backs in Spit shotgun formation, only allows rb and te or fb. Lastly, Ray Rice did like 5 tornado spins to score a 39 yd run, kinda weird.
