My point was, I was hoping to be wowed a bit and then the demo would have done its job and made me excited for August 27th. Im not the only one who feels this way, why are there some people that just feel the need to be Madden police? These are all impressions, all subjective. I'm not going to come on here and attack somebody who is in constant defense mode and always defending the product. Why after 7 years of mediocre to BAD games does anyone have to police us negatives? Its just my impression of the game. 5 minutes or 5 hours, its the same madden weve had since 2009, with a left trigger modifier now. Yippie.

If you don't touch the controller, does the QB scramble on his own? This has been a major flaw with Madden over the years. Coach mode or not, he'll pass on his own, but won't take off down field.

I think this is the best Madden on current gen, but player models like Wilson's need to be addressed. His skin is way too dark here.

I'll wait until the next-gen version to see if it fixes anything. You can still run through 5 guys like last year.

First Madden demo I've played that's actually got me MORE excited for the game. I love it, almost everything is a step up from 13. My best moment has been a Richard Sherman 80 yard INT return for a TD to win the game against my brother, weaving in and out of the Packers defense like an absolute boss. Russell Wilson got concussed in the first half and Tarvaris Jackson was pretty average but the D managed to win me the game!

Only gripes are interceptions + precision skill modifier. Interceptions look normal in the replays and are a lot more fluent than ever before, but during live gameplay it feels like the defender drops the ball, catches it again and then there's a 1 second delay before the camera switches around? Still, the switch-around is again, a lot more fluent than past Madden's.

The Precision skill modifier, well there isn't anything wrong or broken about it, but I don't understand what use it is? My understanding of it is that it slows down the runner so he can make a special move to beat the oncoming defender, but when you can just use them moves without holding LT, and sprint fast whilst spinning rather than slowing down and spinning, why would anyone want to use it? Anyway the run game looks very tidy this year and making quick jukes and cuts to beat defenders is very fun, kickoff returns are better than ever before. Stiff arms seem a bit ineffective though.
