CPU is 5 for 5 on field goal attempts over 50 yards so far. Hauschka just made a 61 yarder to end the half against me. His KPW is 94 and he's a pretty good kicker but seeing him kick it from the wrong side of the 50 looked strange lol

Isn't the NFL record like 62?

it's either 62 or 63? By that Saints kicker with the flat foot? (I think)

It took EA the entire gen but this game is very playable. First madden I've played in a while i'm enjoying. Not a whole lot wrong with it. Still some end game AI issues and the commentary could be a bit better but pretty darn good. I like the new animations. It looks really realisitic. EA's physics engine took a big jump this year and seems to have cleared up a lot of glaring issues. This game doesn't reinvent the wheel but it perfects most of which we wanted with madden 13. I will actually buy this game. This game has not been worth buying in 10 years. This year is a very good football game.

Coverages seem much better and the cpu actually has a running game.

Not so much. In a tie ball game vs the Ravens with under 2:00 and the ravens are driving. Keep in my mind we both have all three timeouts left

They get a first down which brings them into the red zone (FG range), so I call a time out with 1:15 left.

Next play, hand off to Rice - (Looking good so far, thinking they want to keep milking the clock until it winds down and kick the winning Fg), So i call a TO with 1:07 to go

Next play they hand off again to Rice, IO go to call another Time Out, but they do right at 1:01 (The magic number from every other madden on this gen).

Next play incomplete pass

Next play Rice Run and they call a time out right away to set up a FG.

They make it bbut leave me about 45 seconds. I return the kick to just over the 50. Three passes later I hit Boldin for a TD and I win

So I am guessing the 1:01 TO is still in as is the poor clock management. play calling wasnt awful, just dumb usage of Time outs
