Alright so I just played the the 49ers@Ravens game as the 49ers, and so far my impression is good. I like that the Read Option works pretty well. Though I used Gameflow most of the game and had to call Read Options on my own. I hope in longer games the Gameflow will call the read option more, if not no big deal AI play calling has usually been questionable. But it seems pretty good so far, granted this is after only one game.

So far I don't have any real issues with game play, the combo moves are pretty good. On defense I'm seeing a few blown coverage, and wide open WR and TE, especially in short yardage situations like the Goal line. But overall I like the game play so far, everything feels fluid after one game. I did have one problem with commentary, which was with the new Sideline reporter, I can't remember her name yet. But after halftime she said she spoke with Colin Kaepernick while the 'camra' was on Joe Flacco, not that big a deal but a bit out of place. Also she mentioned the 49ers having Turnovers which we didn't, and the Ravens had 1 by halftime. The rest of the commentary is alright, a few new things but I'm sure it will get as annoying as it was last year, Sims is defiantly not my favorite Madden NFL commentator.

Another thing that was more of a annoyance then anything else, the Ravens had the ball the entire first quarter. I'm sure with longer quarters this wont be much of a problem. I'd also like to see the camera focus on injured players more like it has in the past. Also with the new Sideline Reporter, I'd like to hear a bit more from her during the game, especially injury updates, and maybe after timeouts or after a quarter ends. I mean she's on the sidelines right? Let her give a bit more of the storyline during the game, when it's appropriate, don't over do it.

On one more note, not sure if it was answered yet, but I did see a question about Asst. Tackles. Yes they are being recorded, at least I had two recorded, though they were for two Ravens offensive players after one of my Interceptions. So there is hope that they will work in the full version, though I think there should have been a few more Asst. Tackles.

All in all I enjoyed the demo so far and look forward to Madden 25 and Connected Franchise Mode.

There's a lot that can change the feel of a

game. If COD gets stale does that mean nothing can change in fps games? Of course not, it means COD has done pretty much what it can with the genre, take or leave it.

This genre just needs a fresh take on the sport in the worst way possible in my opinion.

Good and BALANCED post. Nitpicking complainers are not helpful. As of right now, I don't see PS3 demo up yet so this is all I have. Also, it seems to me the biggest haters are the ones that play the most. How could you have so much to pick apart if you didn't play so much of the game you supposedly hate?

Did anyone notice if QB throwing motions actually work right this year?
