Very excited of the possibilites in this feature. Chase down blocks hopefully included as well as the possibility to recreate LeBron blocking Splitter. Also aesthetic wise I see LeBron has his "I Promise" rubberbands on his wrists. That's a nice touch I was personally going for. Hoping those are also on his next gen player model as well, and that they are editable as he doesn't always wear the black "I Promise" bands sometimes he wears white at home with red or black writing or red with white writing. It would be nice to have the option. Cannot wait to see more Next Gen screenshots and hopefully more gameplay.

in nba 2k13 you can't block dunk
in nba 2k14 you can block dunk ( new feature)

2k12 blocks were with elows and chins. 2k14 will now use hands to blow.

I do think these will be canned if activated with a button press.

This 100x. I will bet that so many think that playing defense = blocking a dunk. No, the defense starts before the opportunity for a dunk even happens, with defensive positioning. I don't need to be getting 10 blocks a game, just more contact animation. Hopefully 2K has struck a good balance so the blocks aren't overkill, and it sounds like they have.

I fear we'll be getting block stat lines in double figures every game now. A whole new system dedicated to just blocked shots? Hmmm. I'm not optimistic.

Good news for some, I guess. Never really bothered me so much as It's only online that seems to be a dunkfest.

Now - when are we due more updates on 2k14?
