Things are going to look odd from the movement because it is an old game. For the time, it was an outstanding game from the short time I played it.
No I mean player movement. Freeney is standing straight up as he pursues the QB. Players look like robots.

I agree, Strahan was a better all around player than those 2, he was just as tremendous a run defender and tackler as he was a sack man, he was way more than just a sack specialist. Also if we're talking the last 25 years where is Bruce Smith and Reggie White? I guess that's going too far back into the time machine for the demographic that buys the game.

Seems like a lot of people are failing to realize this is a countdown of top players in the game of Madden. So, more or less this is the top cheese players in the last 25 years of Madden games. And really, the trend of having one super over-rated unstoppable player every year didn't start in Madden until the PS2 days. Look at games from the 90s when White/Smith would have been in their prime, and you couldn't simply take one of them and single handedly dominate an entire game. Now, look at Vick from '04...and you could literally scramble with him EVERY play and never be stopped.

It would be cool if every iteration of Madden was balanced and the playing field for this contest was even. But, unfortunately, most of the extreme imbalancing in the game has been in the last 10 years...so most players for this contest will be recent.

Am I the only who thinks that Freeney sacking Manning is ironic? Or am I just nostalgic of the good old days of my team?
