I see some of the posts about how we can't expect EA to do much more with the gameplay due to lack of power from the current consoles?? Really?? Tell that to 2K Sports who has done so much more as far as gameplay animations then EA sports 10 years ago! I'll keep beating the dead horse and continue saying 10 years ago they(2K sports) still have better oline/dline & WR/DB animations to this date!! Even on older Consoles!!?? What does that tell you?? I know what it says to me, their Dev's where more talented then EA's. You can even go as far as to call 2K sports Dev's rocket scientist's compared to other Dev's now making these current football games. So much for the console not having enough power theory.. Makes you wonder.. If NBA 2K made EA sports NBA live retire for awhile, what would have happened to Madden if EA didn't buy out the NFL License?? hmmm.. I think most of us know the answer to that. Smart move by EA.

EA is a huge company they can do better then this is the bottom line.. I'm a huge football gaming fan and I haven't bought a football game in years. Haven't had the need to with what EA has put out. Obviously this generation of football was a complete fail by EA sports, the least thing they can do is redeem themselves by completely remaking Madden from scratch for this next gen of football gaming. Will they finally step up and get some talent and create something good? Who knows.. All I know is i'm dying to play football again and I don't care who makes it, just make something worthy of Next Gen..

In relation to that superhuman michael vick play, if we edit his break tackle or truck rating to match his strength rating and reduce his acceleration to +4 above his speed rating I don't think we would see that play happen again. Also this correlates to slider settings, so with all players being edited accordingly we should get intended results as far as DT's (DE's,Lb's) crushing smaller QB's (RB's, WR's).

Presentation was the only thing in my opinion that got changed. Gameplay looks the same as 13. All the colors are washed out. I'm not disappointed about this. I had a feeling not much was gonna change. No buy for me right now.

I totally agree; Sometimes I feel like we're all beta-testers and our compensation is correcting more of the same issues as in the previous years' release lol.

I liked the CBS style intros of last year....as others have noted they should try an use in-game assets moving forward. It'll keep you more immersed in your football world if done right

So zig zag running is still an effective strategy in Madden ay?

Defenders just taking the worst angles should be so embarrassing for EA Tiburon, but unfortunately I don't think they care.

Ive yet to see anyone use the juke modifier, all I see is spin moves and stiff arms.
