Re: NBA 2K14 Community Team-Up Recommendations

1. We understand its a business. Please dont forget the hardcore fans that recognized a good product, supported it, kept it alive when it wasn't status quo and provided an opportunity for casual fans to see the light.

2. Two sessions with one in March (in regards to shaping the current project) would be better for the "SIM" community IMO. Going with youtubers for exposure for round one is understandable.

There are sooo many worthy people and I can't in good conscience vote for myself. I'll just say that you can't go wrong with people from this forum. Internet famous has never been the goal here. A GREAT hoops game on the other hand....

No offense, but it would be a joke to invite Mr.Leaderboards.

Re: NBA 2K14 Community Team-Up Recommendations

I don't know enough / get too deep into the rosters, association, etc. or about those who contribute to those to knowledgeably nominat anyone in that dept. I will say JasonWilliams55 seems to offer a lot of good gameplay nuggets and tips. Ksutton has good fundamental basketball knowledge.

I just hope there's variety. As indicated by past polls, OS audience is HEAVY on the offline association. Online community is really not represented well here (just check out the lack of posts in the online sub-forum).

I'd like to see variety, rep's from all modes and types:

- association gurus
- online / blacktop / teamup superstars
- youtube dudes
- gameplay tipsters
- roster dudes and modders
- old schoolers / hardcore nba 2kers who've played the game multiple yrs and seen how it's evolved (none of these "2K12 was the first basketball game I ever played")
etc

For me personally, I never really had time to play with roster editing and stuff like that. I honestly just started getting into association, and i don't even play that regularly, I usually just play online(rarely), mycareer, and regular quick match. But I just hope that we get guys who know way more than i do about each mode individually. guys who have in depth knowledge on each mode.

First and foremost is better gameplay

-I think 2k's #1 goal for this franchise should be the 5v5 player matchups. It is the set up with the most possibility- No AI. either on the console or online- making team up (to that extent-the passing). Playing great team basketball should rewarded.

-Strip away some of the fluff-

-Make more classic teams DLC- if they get a higher% of money, more guys will do it, more downloads.

-International Basketball feature in MyPlayer.

-More tourneys by 2k.

Lol, I agree. Someone that purposely exploits the game should not be awarded for the way he plays. I know some people say he could help, but I doubt it. People don't learn how to exploit and learn all of the "gimmicky" things in 2K in a day or so of having the game. Let alone the little amount of time he would get to play if he actually went. Also, people that don't exploit the game can just as easily tell the devs how to fix the problem.

Re: NBA 2K14 Community Team-Up Recommendations

Wow they invited YMDgento. This guys sounds like a copy of shakedown and chris smooth combined. I'm really disappointed at 2K with misleading everyone about the purpose of the "community" keyword "community" team up.

They have everyone thinking they have a chance to get invited to go play the game early when in fact all they want is free marketing. Well you know what change the name of the team up to something else because community doesn't fit well when it's not about the community.

Marketing to a bunch of little kids that subscribe to these so called commentators only tells me that they're catering to the casual crowd again and not serious about fixing the pile of mess that has been NBA2K for the last 2 years.

NBA Live 14 please give these jerks some competition, they've grown too arrogant and forgot where they came from.

Re: NBA 2K14 Community Team-Up Recommendations

YO we need to get Shake4ndBake! Dudes a MyTeam legend. He basically started the Dell Curry craze. You better believe that if he spotted Dell as a good(cheesy) player in MyTeam, he'll be a great person to bring back info. To piggyback off LD2k, That's what this event is about. Bringing info and opinions about the game back to the fans. How much of the NBA 2k community is on OS? Not as much as I wish.

I understand that a lot of OS'ers are very adept at catching details, but YouTubers will be able to broaden the info quicker. I really wish as much as you guys that at least 5+ OS members will go, but I doubt it. In the long run, having the YouTubers visit will benefit all of the 2k community. Especially from the #SH4KES if Shake4ndBake goes. I can't wait for the SHAKE dual comm that both shakes will be doing when Shake4ndBake goes.
