NCAA Will Not Renew EA Sports Contract, NCAA Football Series is Dead in Name Only

There is a ton of info and posts in this thread. Could someone give me a brief overview? I saw that NCAA pulled out of the contract, the game was dead, now it's saved.. Why... How?

yea, no USC or Oregon as well...they can't make a college football game and not have those schools in it.

This is because tOSU, USC, Oregon, and some other schools do their licensing under CLPA, Collegiate Licensed Properties Association. CLPA is somewhat similar to CLC, but operates under a different model:
