Crazy. Wondering if this will effect bowls/playoffs in the game?

That's a relief... I was worried only major schools would be in it. After that though who know's what we'l get if anything.

Hopefully we'll see a college game on the next gen that rivals what we had 2nd gen. Including all the D2, and I will forever call' em D2 and not FCS, lol. Anyway hopefully we see that among other things like suspensions and celebrations come back to some extent.

I wonder if all the things the NCAA frowned upon like the celebrations and suspensions will start working their way back into the game.

Zero. The playoffs are licensed under the BCS. The bowls have their own separate deals too.

EA has already seen a 1.57% dip today due to the news and it's far away from the $60 days on the market.

And you hit on a very good point in that it's the third largest franchise in the United States. It pales in comparison to FIFA and is still lagging behind Madden. Now with the uncertainty of what's going to happen in court and with your best known partner pulling out? That doesn't sound too good.

Again, they may pull this off, but there is still a long road ahead.
EA's major stockholders arent stupid. They are already in the lawsuit. Ending the NCAA series or changing the series in any significant way isnt going to change the course of the lawsuit. If anything changes are likely to make EA's position in the lawsuit look worse.

The only thing that is going to change the series is a bad result from the lawsuit.
