Maybe a positive in the long run? Less restrictions?

This could be a problem. Programs like Alabama will ask for a hell of a lot more than say Illinois. Some schools will definitely be excluded. Individual licensing can prove a lot more costly than a package NCAA deal.

So the NCAA logo will be the ONLY thing gone if the rest falls into place? Somebody help me out here.
Basically it means the NCAA and it's logo won't be in future games, also meaning the NCAA won't be involved in future games. Major College football is set up in a manner where conferences may be getting more power than the NCAA going forward anyways, IMO.

There's a lot of talk of the Big 5 splitting from the NCAA as-is, at least for football, to play by their own set of rules.

Bowls arent affiliated with NCAA so they are likely still in.

Doubt displine/violations will be in because even the individual schools hate to promote that stuff.

It wont. All 127 schools are in the CLC. EA negotiates with the CLC and Notre Dame. As long as Alabama is in the CLC it will get its contractual amount.

Id just like to point out, APF 2k8 being generic may not have been the only reason it didn't sell well. It was very shallow. The game was one season and online. No drafting, building up a team. etc. To top it off it was $60 bucks as well. I got it when it dropped in price, but I'm not an online player out side of online franchise or dynasties. I need more than just a season, drafting players and building teams is half the fun.
